Feeding Guidelines

Please read this before starting any supplement

Before you begin, it’s important to understand what supplements can and cannot do. Supplements are not medicines and they are not quick or “magic” fixes. They work by supporting your dog’s body at a nutritional level, which means their impact is gradual and depends heavily on daily consistency and overall habits.

A supplement does not work in isolation. Good habits + consistent supplementation increase the chances of results. Poor habits + supplements usually don’t. Irregular feeding, skipped doses, frequent routine changes, or expecting a supplement to compensate for long-standing issues will reduce its effectiveness, even if the product itself is good. When supplements are paired with stable routines, proper feeding habits, hydration, activity, and overall care, they can meaningfully support your dog’s wellbeing over time.

Results are never instant, and timelines are different for every dog. How quickly (or slowly) changes may be noticed depends on several factors such as your dog’s age, breed, severity of the concern, existing health conditions, how long the issue has been present, and how consistently the supplement is given. For chronic or long-standing conditions, supplements are meant to support the body gradually and are not expected to reverse problems within the first few weeks or even the first 30 days.

Think of supplements as daily support, not a one-time solution. They work best when they become part of a routine, given regularly, in the right amount, and with patience. Skipping days, stopping early, or expecting visible changes within a short period often leads to disappointment, not because the supplement failed, but because it wasn’t given the time and consistency it needs to work as intended.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are these supplement a medicine?

No. Supplements are not medicines and are not meant to diagnose, treat, or cure diseases. They provide nutritional support to help the body function better over time. This is why results are gradual and depend heavily on consistency and overall care.

2. When will my dog start showing results? How long does it usually take?

Supplements won’t work instantly. The timeline for noticeable changes will vary from dog to dog and will depend on several factors, including:

- How long the issue has been present
- The severity of the concern
- Your dog’s age and breed
- Overall diet and daily routine
- How consistently the supplement is given

For long-standing or chronic issues, visible improvements may take several weeks or longer. What matters most is daily consistency and patience—supporting the body over time allows meaningful, lasting improvements to develop.

3. Can I stop the supplement once I see improvement?

Supplements work only while they are being given. The nutrients are used by the body daily and are not stored long-term. Stopping the supplement often means stopping the support. For ongoing or chronic concerns, continued use is usually needed to maintain benefits.

4. Can I give the supplement with curd rice or home-cooked food?

Yes. Supplements can be mixed with curd rice, plain rice, or other regular meals. Make sure the food is not hot and that your dog eats the full portion so the correct amount is consumed.

5. Can I mix the supplement with water?

It is better to mix supplements with food rather than water. Mixing with food improves intake and reduces the chance of incomplete consumption or stomach upset.

6. What is the best time to give supplements—morning or night?

There is no fixed “best” time. What matters most is giving the supplement at the same time every day. Choose a time that fits your routine so doses aren’t missed.

7. Can I give more than one supplement together?

Yes — you can safely mix and match our supplements. Our formulas are intentionally designed so that ingredients do not overlap. Each supplement targets a different area of health (gut, joints, skin, calm, etc.), which means they’re meant to work together, not compete with one another.

8. My dog is a picky eater. What can I do?

Try mixing the supplement with foods your dog already enjoys, such as curd, rice, bone broth or a small portion of their favourite meal. You can also start with a smaller quantity and slowly increase to the full recommended dose over a few days.

9. My dog had loose stools or a mild stomach upset after starting. Is this normal?

Some dogs need time to adjust to new supplements. If this happens:

-Stop for a day
-Restart with a smaller amount
-Gradually increase to the full dose over several days

Always use the provided scoop. Household spoons often lead to incorrect dosing.

10. Can I give supplements to puppies?

Yes, our supplements are formulated for puppies aged 4 months and above. From 4 months onward, a puppy’s digestive system is developed enough to benefit from daily nutritional support when given as directed. Many pet parents choose to start supplements at this stage to support healthy growth, digestion, immunity, and overall wellness.

For puppies under 4 months, we recommend waiting or consulting a veterinarian before introducing any supplements, as their nutritional needs are still very specific.

11. What if I miss a day?

Missing an occasional day is not a problem. Simply continue with the regular dose the next day. Do not double the quantity to compensate.

12. Why is consistency stressed so much?

Supplements provide daily nutritional support. Skipping days, stopping early, or irregular dosing reduces their ability to support the body and is one of the most common reasons pet parents feel supplements “didn’t work.”

13. Will supplements fix genetic or chronic conditions?

Supplements are meant to support, not reverse or cure long-standing conditions. In genetic or chronic cases, they help the body gradually and are best viewed as long-term support rather than short-term solutions.

14. When should I speak to a veterinarian?

If your dog has an existing medical condition, is on medication, is very young, or shows persistent symptoms, consult a veterinarian before or alongside using supplements.
